“We had an Allcare nurse – Sylvia Phatudi, who cared for my mother, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease from 2010 until her death in November 2017 and for my father from then until his death in May 2022. The fact that she could move seamlessly from nursing my mother, to tending my father, who remained determinedly independent over the time of his more gradual decline, was proof of her ability to adapt to the needs and personality of her patient with tact and sensitivity.
Over the many years of service to my parents, a more humane, professional, dedicated, trustworthy and experienced carer would, I think, be very hard to find.
